Miscreants cause minor damage to Ambedkar statue, repaired

Kanpur, Jul 25 (PTI) A group of miscreants today caused minor damage
to a statue of B R Ambedkar in Panki area here which was immediately
repaired by authorities."Some miscreants caused minor damage to the
statue this morning but it was immediately repaired," DIG Rajesh Rai
said.Security has been heightened around the area in wake of the
incident, he said.Police are on the lookout for the culprits.
