[ZESTCaste] Enhanced compensation under POA Act [1 Attachment]

Gazette  notification issued by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment,  dated 23rd December 2011.

The ministry has enhanced the relief and compensation amount under SCs & STs (PoA) Rules 1995, ranging from Rs.50,000/- (in case of violation of right to franchise) upto Rs.5,00,000/- (in case of murder of an earning member of family) and also  increasing widow /dependant pension to Rs. 3,000/-.

The new standards are applicable with immediate effect.
