Ghaziabad: Dalit Shot Dead by 'Upper Caste' Men

A dalit was shot dead by two upper caste men over an old enmity in a
village in Dhaulana area here, police said today.

Two brothers Pappu and Raj Kumar, hailing from the Thakur community,
allegedly shot dead Kiran Pal (44) in Fagota village last night.

According to the police, the accused wanted to take revenge on Pal
after a case was registered against the duo under the Harijan Act.
