Dalit family demands justice

At least 60 members of a Dalit family in Muzaffarnagar district of
Uttar Pradesh has been roaming door to door to get justice for the
last one and half years.
One Nemwati from Nagwa village had borrowed Rs.40,000 from a sturdy
moneylender 20 years ago. In a bid to repay loan, Nemwati worked as a
maid at his residence for 20 years but she couldn't able to clear the
debt amount.
But the ordeal never ends here. The moneylender also forced her to
sell her three acres of land to repay three lakhs.
The muscleman moneylender is still demanding three lakhs from Nemwati.
On the other hand, police have not paying attention to Nemawati's plea.
