Dear friend , thanks for this rhetoric write -up on a simple question.

please suggest solution to annihilate the caste system in India.

what Dr.Ambedkar had suggested in his 'Annihilation of Caste' is a way OR any other way you would like to suggest.
By denying caste is a way? How many % of entire population is thinking like you?
How can you say caste base census will divide India? Was it ever united?

I personally appreciate your reply.

Dr. Ambedkar was the first person who said, " I am first Indian , and last Indian" .

Does reservation theory become obstacle in the development of India?
Who are the beneficiary of the caste system?

Protest against 'anti-dalit' stance of taluk administration
Bangarpet, July 20, DHNS:

The members of Karnataka Dalit Praja Sene on Tuesday staged a dharna
in front of the taluk office alleging that the taluk administration
has not called meeting of Atrocity Prevention Committee for the last
13 months.

The protesters alleged while the rules stipulate that the meeting
should have been called once every three months, the administration
has not convened the meeting since June 2009. The meeting provided a
forum for Dalits to convey their problems to the

administration. Officials used to discharge their duties towards
Dalits diligently fearing that any discrimination would be raised in
the meeting. This had ensured a minimum social justice to the
oppressed class. However, as the meeting has not been called, the only
forum available for Dalits to give vent to their problems has been
rendered useless. Thus, the attitude of the administration is itself
responsible for the increased atrocities on Dalits in the taluk,
Prajasene state secretary Sulikunte Anand alleged.

He further complained that the administration in the taluk has
collapsed paving way for corruption and irregularities. The atrocities
on Dalits has increased due to discriminatory policies.

The protesters sought the taluk administration to convene the meeting
of the Committee at the earliest.

Dalit cooks: Upper caste people lock school kitchen

Kanpur, Jul 15 : The appointment of Dalit cooks at a school for
preparing food under the Mid day meal scheme has led to in upper caste
people locking up the kitchen at Mekharpur primary school in Ramabai
Nagar of Uttar Pradesh.

Residents of Jarpur village in Akbarpur locality had locked the
kitchen after newly-appointed cook Chandravati prepared 'kheer' on the
first day at work yesterday.

The primary school, having 94 registered children, had recently
appointed Chandravati and Babli Yadav, another Dalit, as cooks.

Basic Education officer Sanjay Shukla said legal action would be
Initiated against the villagers if they failed to remove the locks
from the kitchen.

Earlier, an agitation was witnessed in Kannauj district, where some
villagers had protested outside a primary school over the removal of a
Dalit cook.

Senior district officers were investigating the matter.

HAVERI: Water resources minister Basavaraj Bommai visited Kamal
Bangadi locality of Savanur on Wednesday afternoon and apologized for
the inconvenience caused to them and assured all help from the state
government.

He listened to their grievances. "It is a shocking news for me and I
bow my head for the mistake of officials who took the extreme step of
evacuating these families in the name of building a complex by the
city municipal council (CMC)," he said.

He appealed to them to move out of their jobs of cleaning toilets and
collecting and dumping faeces. "You come out of this bhangi business
and go for self-employment, so that loans will be sanctioned under
different schemes," he said.

Criminal action against guilty: Addressing media persons after his
visit, he said that DC H G Srivara is authorized to conduct an inquiry
into the incident and that a report would be submitted to the
government within seven days. Criminal action will be initiated
against the guilty, he assured.

He also instructed the CMC not to disturb the dalit families.
"Emotionally, they have been living here for the last seven decades,
let them live," he said.

Under the special scheme of 22.5%, the municipality will provide all
basic infrastructure for their comfortable livelihood. Taps will be
re-fitted within 24 hours. He instructed taluk magistrate Dr Prashant
Nalwar to see that their children get free education and motivated
them to join schools and colleges.

After the press meet, Bommai held a closed-door meeting with
municipal, police and revenue officials about their negligence. Bommai
was very angry with chief officer H N Bhajakkanavar for his
inefficiency, sources said. BJP leader Somanna Bevinamarad and SP Dr
Chandra Gupta were present.

Raichur: The district unit of the Dalit Sangharsh Samiti (Bheema
group) has urged the Government to withdraw the Karnataka Prevention
of Slaughter and Prevention of Cattle Bill, 2010. Staging a dharna
here on Monday, the leaders said the BJP had taken a hasty decision by
passing the Bill.
