on Sunday where she will be addressing a public meet at Parade Ground
on Monday. She will address her first public rally in poll-bound
Uttarakhand at around 11 am in Roorkie, Haridwar district followed by

Surajmal said that Mayawati would address four rallies, including two
in Roorkie and Dehradun in Garhwal division on Monday and two in
Rudrapur and Udhamsingh Nagar of Kumaon division on the following day.

The BSP's Dehradun district election in-charge, Nathu Singh, confirmed
that Mayawati had arrived in Dehradun around 4.30 pm on Sunday and
will leave for Roorkie on Monday morning. Singh further said that he
had received a letter of approval from the Dehradun District Election
Officer, Dilip Jawalkar, allowing the party to organise a public rally
on Parade Ground on Monday.

Sources revealed that in view of the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister
Mayawati's public rally at Parade Ground, SP City, five Circle
Officers, five SHOs, police personnel and intelligence personnel would
be deployed at Parade Ground on January 23.

SSP GN Goswami said that elaborate security measures have been made at
