District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and police Circle
Officer (CO) of Sandila today came in the firing line of Uttar Pradesh
Chief Minister Mayawati for laxity in disposal of Dalit act cases in
Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh today.
Ms Mayawati who is on the visit of districts, asked SDM Sandila for
speedy disposal of dalit act cases besides directing him to take
special care in distributing the land 'Pattas' to poors.
She was on the tour of Adampur, the Ambedkar village, in Kotawan block
under sandila tahsil, about 60 km from the state capital.
During her visit, Ms Mayawati went round a primary school and
interacted with the children and inspected documents at Sandila tehsil
and Atrauli police station.
The Chief Minister also scolded Station Officer of Atrauli police
station for slow disposal of cases.
She was on the tour of Hardoi and Lakhimpur Khiri districts in Lucknow division.
Before reaching Hardoi, Ms Mayawati visited the Mohanlalganj tehsil of
the state capital and reviewed the developmental work at different
places. She also visited an Ambedkar village there and inspected a
primary school.
