Lucknow : Dalbara Singh, brother of BSP founder Kanshi Ram, on Friday
lodged a complaint to UP's Assistant Chief Electoral Officer that the
statues of Late Kanshi Ram were also covered by the state government
along with those of Mayawati, without any order from the Election
Commission. Singh complained that the state government had covered the
statue of Kanshi Ram which is installed besides Mayawati's statue at
Bhim Rao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal in Lucknow.

Lucknow: Police arrested seven people allegedly involved in making
fake voter cards in Tulsipur area of Balrampur. Ashwani Mani Tripathi,
Brijesh Dwivedi, Pappu, Firaz Ahmed, Kamal Warsi, Narendra Mohan, and
Ramjiyavan, all residents of Balrampur, were arrested by police on
Thursday night for being involved in forgery of voter cards. Police
seized 104 fake voter cards, 12 EC's holograms and four computers. An
