Lucknow, Feb 1 (IBNS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati and
Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi kick-started the campaign in the
politically crucial heartland state of northern India on Wednesday
with both the leaders exchanging barbs.
Mayawati slammed Congress while addressing a rally in Sitapur area as
she said: "The Congress is only giving false hope to the minority

UP is going to polls on Feb 8, Feb 11, Feb 15, Feb 19, Feb 23, Feb 28
and March 3.
Counting of votes is on March 6 along with all four other states that
are going to elections.
