Manda Krishna reminds CM of his promise

Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) chairman Manda Krishna Madiga
today met chief minister Kirankumar Manda Krishna, all party
delegationreddy at the Secretariat and requested him to take an all
party delegation to Delhi on the issue of classification of SCs before
the end of this month.

When Manda Krishna Madiga launched an indefinite fast recently
demanding an all party delegation should be sent to Delhi on the
issue, the CM accepted the demand and promised to take the delegation
as soon as possible.

Speaking to media persons after coming out the CMO, he said that he
had requested the CM to take the delegation to Delhi before January 31
and convince the Centre on the need to introduce the Bill on
classification of SCs in the forth coming budget session of the

"Otherwise, Madigas will lay seize to the assembly on February 22 and
thousands of Madigas will arrive in Hyderabad on that day from all
corners of the state. Madigas are suffering for years and
classification of SCs is the only solution for rendering justice to
them," Krishna Madiga said.

The chief minister should take the initiative in this connection and
take an all party delegation to Delhi to convince the Government into
introducing the Bill on classification, he said.
