Muzaffarnagar: Man awarded life term for killing Dalit woman

Muzaffarnagar: A local court has convicted a man and sentenced him to
life imprisonment for murdering a Dalit woman in Muzaffarnagar on
Friday.
The Additional District Sessions Judge A B Singh has also imposed a
fine of Rs. 5,000 on Dharmendra after holding him guilty.
According to prosecution, Dalit woman Kusum was murdered by Dharmendra
over a petty issue in Haiderpur village of the district on November
16, 2007.
