Ambedkar criticises Cong-NCP for delaying decision on alliance

Mumbai, Jan 15 (PTI) Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh leader Prakash Ambedkar
today criticised the Congress-NCP coalition for delaying decision on
alliance with his party for the upcoming Zilla Parishad and municipal
corporation polls in Maharashtra. Talking to reporters after meeting
NCP president Madhukar Pichad, Ambedkar said Cong-NCP had authorised
their local district leadership to take decisions on alliances. "This
is time consuming and delaying tactic. We will fight alone for the
Akola Municipal Corporation and the Zilla Parishad. While in Nanded,
we have tied up with local outfits," he said. Ambedkar said if
decision was not taken soon on the alliance, his party would contest
alone elsewhere as well. PTI MR
