Dalit beaten to death for peeping inside bathroom

JIND: A farm labourer belonging to a Dalit community was beaten to
death by a family of upper caste woman, who accused him of peeping
inside her bathroom in Amarawati Khera village of Jind district on
Saturday night.

After thrashing the man, the accused allegedly forced him to consume
poison to mislead the police. Pradeep Kumar (20) worked in the fields
of an upper caste family. On Saturday night the family members called
him to their residence after the woman made the allegation. The police
have registered a case against the family of Tak Chand.
