Girl's limbs chopped off for resisting gangrape

Fatehpur: In a horrendous incident in Uttar Pradesh, a Dalit girl paid
a heavy price for fighting off some men who were allegedly trying to
rape her.
The men allegedly chopped off her arms and legs. The gruesome incident
took place in Fatehpur on Saturday. The girl said that she was
attacked by an axe.
The victim is in a critical condition and is being taken to Kanpur for
further medical treatment. "When they started harassing, I tried to
run away, but could not. They attacked me with axes," said the victim.

According to some reports, the ghastly incident was the result of an
ongoing feud between the victim's and assailants' families.
Police have arrested one of the suspects but three others are still at large.
"One girl was let off. The other's limbs were chopped off," Fatehpur SP said.
