News: UK seeks to raise language entry levels
International students intending to study at colleges and universities
in the UK may have to demonstrate a minimum level of English language
proficiency, if proposals to tighten up student visa rules are
implemented. We report on the plans and a temporary extension to the
period that English language learners can stay in the UK to improve
their English.
