Lucknow, May 13 (PTI) Samajwadi Party today dubbed as "a bunch of
lies" the booklet released by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati on
achievements during her three years in power in the state.
"A booklet has been released by the Chief Minister narrating
achievements of the government in its three-year rule. In reality,
this book is full of lies as the government had miserably on all
fronts," SP state president Akhilesh Yadav told reporters here.
He alleged that while law and order has hit rock bottom, corruption
has been institutionalised and was at its peak.
Accusing the state government of grabbing land, he alleged that nearly
2000 acre was acquired in Lucknow itself for parks, memorials and
statues.
"Fund meant for development, which should have been used on education,
health and power, is being misutilised.
