Govt job for Mirchpur victim's sons

Hisar, May 6 (PTI) The Haryana Government has provided employment to
all the three sons of a Dalit, who was burnt alive in the cast
violence at Mirchpur here.
Deputy Commissioner, O P Sheoran today gave letter of appointment for
the post of safai karamchari to Ravinder, Tara Chand's third son. His
elder brothers - Amar and Rajinder - were given government jobs on
April 30.
Ravinder has joined duty in the DC's office here.
The DC also gave a cheque of Rs 16 lakh to Kamla Devi, the wife of Tara Chand.
Chand and his physically challenged teenaged daughter were charred to
death on April 21 as the miscreants burnt their house. In all, 18
houses of Dalits in Mirchpur were set on fire.
The district administration was in the process of distributing
compensation to the victims, he said.
